Our Administrative & Dental Team
Megan - Administrative
Megan graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at South Puget Sound CC in 2001. She spent the majority of her assisting years in orthodontics. She decided to take some time away to start a family and help with the family business. Megan found herself wanting to get back into dentistry while putting her administrative skills to work, and she knew right where she wanted to land. She was excited to join the Walker & Krause Dental administrative team in 2018.
When Megan is not working, she is busy being a mom! She loves supporting her kids in all their activities, whether it is baseball, football, or dance. In her free time, Megan enjoys spending time with her friends and family, enjoys being outdoors, and loves going to Mariners games!
Shannon - Administrative
Shannon graduated from South Puget Sound CC in 1996 with an Associate of Technical Arts in Dental Assisting degree. Shannon got her passion for dentistry while working for her dad at Turpin Dental Lab. Shannon spent the first 6 years of her career in orthodontics before coming to work for Dr. Walker. Shannon worked as one of Dr. Walker’s assistants for her first 8 years before moving to the front office to utilize her banking experience as the Financial Coordinator/Office Manager. Shannon joined Dr. Walker’s team in 2002 and is one of many long-term employees that now enjoy working with Dr. Krause as well. Shannon loves working with patients both clinically and financially to ensure their experience is seamless and enjoyable.
When Shannon is not working you will find her spending time with her husband, two sons, and three stepdaughters supporting as many of their sports and events as she can. Shannon spends her free time staying active with her husband, family, friends, & her Westie dog Rubee.
Jessicah - Dental Assistant
Jessicah has worked for Walker & Krause Dental Team for 30 years. Jessicah is an EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary) and as such is trained to place fillings and take impressions along with other chairside duties.
Of the many things Jessicah likes about her job, one of her favorites is being able to put an apprehensive patient at ease and at the end of their appointment having them say that was the best dental appointment they’ve ever had. She also enjoys the opportunity to help so many patients get the smile they have always wanted.
In her spare time Jess enjoys boating and pottery. She also enjoys spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter.
Allison - Dental Hygienist
Allison has been a dental hygienist since 2012 and joined our practice in 2022. She graduated from Clark College’s Dental Hygiene program and furthered her education by completing her bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington University. She works hard with her patients to improve and maintain their periodontal health.
Allison enjoys spending time with her two children and her fiancé.
Dayna - Dental Hygienist
Dayna Dayton graduated from Pierce College Dental Hygiene program in 1992 and earned her Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University in 2021. She spent her first 20 or so years working in a pediatric dental office and now splits her time at Walker/Krause between restorative care, Invisalign and traditional hygiene.
Dayna feels her greatest accomplishment in life is her two children. Her son Greysen graduated from University of Washington and is pursuing his dream of becoming a dentist. Meysa, her daughter, graduated from Grand Canyon University with her Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
When not working with teeth, Dayna fills her time traveling, golfing, skiing, going on adventures and soaking up every ounce of sun she can in Palm Springs. Delivering pain-free injections and alleviating patient fears are the best part of her day. Dayna’s newest passion is Invisalign treatment where she can be a part of creating healthy and beautiful smiles.
Cream - Dental Hygienist
Cream graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2016 with her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene degree. It has been her dream to be a dental hygienist ever since she was in the 2nd grade and feels like she is living out her dream and enjoys being in the dental field. She is passionate about helping and caring for people and finds joy in meeting new people every day.
Creating a comfortable environment in what otherwise is commonly a place that brings anxiety and building trusting relationships with her patients are very important to her. She truly can’t imagine being in any other profession.
She comes from a big family and is the second youngest out of seven children (her younger sister’s name is Sugar!). Her other greatest passions are staying active and healthy and music. She enjoys going to the gym, running, cycling and being outdoors. She is also active in her local church and plays the acoustic guitar and sings as part of the worship team and runs the sound board as part of the audio/visual team.
Kristi - Dental Assistant
Kristi has been working in the dental field since 2008. She graduated from the SPSCC Dental Assisting program and continued her education in 2018 to become an EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary). As an EFDA, in addition to performing all of the duties of a dental assistant, Kristi can place fillings and take final impressions.
Kristi’s favorite part about working in the dental field is helping fearful or apprehensive patients overcome and manage their anxieties at the dental office. She always finds it rewarding when patients are able to relax and even enjoy their time in the dental chair.
Outside of work, Kristi enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 children (Easton, Conan, Kynzie and Isla). They spend a lot of their time at the racetrack, camping and hunting. If there’s ever a spare moment she enjoys going and playing a round of golf.
Yin - Dental Hygienist
Yin started her dental career as a dental assistant in 2006 and later followed her passion to dental hygiene. What drew her to dentistry is the ability to help patients feel confident in their smile. She enjoys the preventive and educational aspect of dental hygiene but also loves the ability to perform restorative treatment. She believes no matter what language you speak, a smile is the universal language.
When she’s not working on teeth, her time is spent with her two active boys and husband. She’s also very passionate about cooking and baking. “Food is my love language” and she loves to feed everyone.
Angel - Dental Assistant
Angel graduated from the SPSCC Dental Assistant Program in 2017.
Growing up Angel experienced severe dental anxiety, but over time was able to overcome this phobia thanks to outstanding patient care. Now her goal is to provide that same type of transformative experience for her patients every day.
Her favorite part of her job is being able to make connections the diverse patient base that we serve, learning and laughing all day long.
When not in the office, Angel enjoys spending down time at home, watching true crime documentaries and relaxing with her partner Mikheela and their fur babies.
